  • 8 fried and shredded Moctezuma tortillas Original
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • ½ small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 8 cups chicken soup
  • 1 peeled avocado cut into pieces
  • 2 pasilla chilis
  • Sour cream to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of oil


Place the tomatoes in a pot, cover with water and let them boil. Cook over medium heat until the tomatoes are soft, between 5 and 8 minutes. Blend them with the onion and garlic, strain them.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot over medium heat and insert the previous mixture. Cook until its seasoned and reduced.

Add the chicken soup and salt, and let boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Fry the peppers quickly taking care not to burn. Make small strips with your hands.

Serve hot soup and garnish with fried pasilla pepper, tortilla strips, avocado, cheese and cream
